Our Club Approach

Training Sessions & Membership
We train every Sunday from 11 AM to 4 PM, offering structured and productive sessions for our members. Our monthly membership fee is $150, which includes access to all training sessions, instruction, and a supportive community of handlers.
Whether your dog is training for protection sports, agility, or just looking for improved manners at home, Zen Canine Training is dedicated to helping them reach their full potential.

Meet the Trainers
Amber has been working with dogs since she was a child but moved onto protection dogs in 2012, starting at K9 Solutions in Ohio before moving to Alabama in 2018 to train at Bite Ranch K9. Amber has since started her own business and collaborates with BRAGKK9ATL. She has gained significant experience in personal protection and competitive dog sports, and in 2022, Amber earned third place in The Throwdown with her dog Token, who also holds his PDC (Protection Dog Certification). Amber completed her Decoy Training in 2024 and will continue her education in 2025, bringing her passion for learning and growth to every dog she works with.

Michael joined the world of canine training in 2021 and has since developed a deep commitment to the craft. He completed Decoy Training in 2024 and is continuing his education in 2025, constantly refining his skills to provide the best possible experience for the dogs he works with.​​​​
Family Pet Training: Building Structure and Confidence

At Zen Canine Training, we understand that every dog is unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. That’s why we focus on providing personalized training for family pets, whether it’s addressing behavioral issues or building better obedience skills, such as leash work and basic commands.

Our Training Process:

Tailored Programs: Each program is customized to meet your dog’s specific needs and your training goals. Pricing is based on the desired outcome, the severity of behavioral issues, and the duration required to achieve results.

On-Site Boarding: Your dog will stay at our facility at Zen Dog Grooming, where we provide a structured and supportive environment. Depending on your pet’s needs, they will be housed in either a kennel or a 5x5 suite.

Progressive Training: We work with your dog at our property until they are confident and ready to explore the world with their new skills. Once progress is made, we schedule a hands-on session with you to go over the training and ensure a smooth transition.
